I'm an "event photographer."
Many, many years ago when I first began seriously shooting there weren't any "event" photographers, just as there weren't any computers or digital cameras. Today, we're a category unto ourselves.
My professional goal is to tell a story using photographs. If you weren't there but feel as if you were after looking at my photos, then I've succeeded.
My style is photojournalistic. I try to become invisible so I can capture honest expressions and emotions. I do this at lengthy, multi-layered events such as weddings and bar/bat mitzvahs and at a child's birthday party at school or in your backyard. I shoot school graduations, major reunions, on-site portraiture and can even spend a day with your children at play capturing a full day's worth of precious memories.
I'm an award-winning and published underwater photographer, and during the summer of 2008 I was the Set Photographer for the feature film "We Got the Beat" being shot in Worcester.
My Canon equipment is top-notch. I'm a whiz in post-production software and adaptable is my middle name. I hope my images speak to you for themselves.
